Think Pink!

It's hard to believe October is drawing to a close (and I've been an awful blogger the whole month, so sorry!). Anyways, one of my favorite things about October is that it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All the pink stuff everywhere makes me really happy, and I love that it it's for a great cause in addition to looking pretty. So in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month here is some pink stuff I'm loving:

Kate Spade Cobble Hill Lacey Wallet
I recently purchased this gorgeous pink Kate Spade wallet from the Friends and Family sale. It was already on the sale section of their website plus I got an additional 30% off! I love how easy it is to organize everything. There are 12 card slots, so plenty of room for my license, credit and debit cards, Starbucks Gold Card, and other rewards cards! There are also two bill folds and an interior zip pocket for change, as well as plenty of space to receipts and such! It's still available on the Kate Spade website!

Kate Spade Hot To Trot Idiom Bangle
I love my Kate Spade Hot To Trot Idiom Bangle!

Lilly Pulitzer Cassie Dress in Orchid Pink
I purchased this pink Cassie dress from C.Orrico a couple months ago during Lilly's endless summer sale! I adore the solid Cassie dresses from Lilly-they are so comfy and so versatile and you can never have too many!

Lilly Pulitzer Maddie Zip Front Jacket in Chic Pink
The Maddie fleece jacket is my favorite piece from the new Lilly Resort 2013 collection! I missed out on this style last year so I am definitely asking for it for Christmas this year! I remember seeing it in stores last year and thinking it was the softest fleece ever!

Vineyard Vines Old Port Puffer Vest in Bahama Breeze
This puffer vest from Vineyard Vines is another piece of pink outerwear I am currently admiring!

Tory Burch Pink Reva Flats
Tory Burch Reva ballet flats in pink! Need I say more?!

These are just a few lovely pink things in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month! What pink are y'all loving right now?

UNC Game Day Outfits!

Here is a handful of UNC Game Day outfit possibilities I have put together-for both warm weather and cool weather. I love to wear a dress or skirt on game day as much as possible. While tights are on option with the skirt/dress ensembles on cooler days, if it's cold enough then I have to wear my North Face jacket as well, and that takes away from the look of a cute skirt or dress.

Warmer Weather Looks:
Dress: Lilly Pulitzer Cassie Dress; Boots: Ariat Heritage Western R-Toe; Pearl Necklace and Bracelet: Spirit Pearl; Earrings: Kate Spade
Here I am modeling this outfit on a recent game day in Chapel Hill.

Printed Polo: Lilly Pulitzer; Cardigan: J.Crew Factory; Skirt: Vineyard Vines; Boots: Ariat; Earrings: Kate Spade; Bracelet: Spirit Pearl: Necklace: Honora
*If it is really warm then just omit the cardigan!

Top: Lilly Pulitzer; Skirt: Vineyard Vines; Boots: Ariat; Earrings: Kate Spade; Necklace: Honora; Bracelet: Spirit Pearl
*This outfit probably wouldn't be the best for a super warm game day, but would be perfect for a mild day!

Cooler Weather Looks:
Sweater: Lilly Pulitzer; Jeans: 7 For All Mankind; Boots: Ariat; Earrings: Kate Spade; Necklace: Spirit Pearl

Top and Scarf: Lilly Pulitzer; Jeans: 7 For All Mankind; Boots: Ariat; Bracelet: Spirit Pearl; Earrings: Kate Spade

FYI- Anything in the shade "Worth Blue" by Lilly Pulitzer is almost a perfect match for Carolina blue! Go Heels!

Friday Five

Hope y'all have had a great week! I'm linking my Friday Five up again with A. Liz Adventures!
1. Starbucks Gold Card
I reached Gold Card status at Starbucks a few weeks ago, and today my Gold Card arrived in the mail. Definitely one of the highlights of my week!

2. Tory Burch Logo Stud Earrings
I ordered these gorgeous Tory Burch logo stud earrings I had been eyeing for awhile when Tory Burch had their Friends and Fans Sale recently. I love them!

3. Candy Corn
Candy corn is one of my favorite fall treats!

4. Roar by Katy Perry
I'm not really a Katy Perry fan, but I have been rocking out to her recent hit "Roar" lately. It has great lyrics and is becoming my anthem.

5. Courage
To be completely honest, despite these little joys, I have had a rough week. This quote I found on Pinterest is a great reminder that each day is an opportunity for a fresh start.

Have a great weekend!

Featured Outfit: One Top, Two Fall Looks

I really love my Hotty Pink Elsa Top by Lilly Pulitzer. This is actually a cotton Elsa, and I wish Lilly would make the Elsa in cotton again because I love the style, but not the dry cleaning fees that come with a silk top. The Elsa is so versatile, and you can see how I created two different Fall looks with it. A few weeks ago when it was still in the 80s I wore it with shorts and Jacks:
Top: Lilly Pulitzer; Shorts: Milly for Banana Republic; Shoes: Jack Rogers; Earrings: Lilly Pulitzer; Pearls: Honora; Bangles and Cocktail Ring: Kate Spade

Then the second Fall look with my Elsa is for a day with more typical NC October temperatures:
Top: Lilly Pulitzer; Jeans: Citizens of Humanity; Boots: Ariat; Scarf: Lilly Pulitzer; Earrings: J.Crew; Bangles and Cocktail Ring: Kate Spade

Friday Five

I'm finally back with another Friday Five and am linking up with A. Liz Adventures. Hope y'all have had a great week!

1. Pumpkin Spice Latte
Tis the season for Pumpkin Spice Lattes. A couple years ago I tried one for the first time and wasn't too impressed. One of my friends suggested asking for just 1.5 pumps of syrup in a tall (they usually add 3) so that it isn't as strong. So this fall I tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte again with that little tweak and it was perfect! I also ask for skim milk, no whip, and no pumpkin spice topping. Even with the reduced amount of syrup, the pumpkin spice topping can be too overpowering so I leave it off as well. My Pumpkin Spice Latte order may be a bit high maintenance, but it's worth it!

2. Issa London for Banana Republic Cardigan
A few weeks ago I was in Banana Republic and the entire store was 40% off. They had a fair number of pieces from the recent Issa London capsule collection on sale and I got this color-blocked cardigan. You can never have too many cardigans, and I love the fact that I can wear one of Princess Kate's favorite brands (Issa London designed the iconic wrap dress she wore to announce her engagement in 2010) at a fraction of the price, thanks to this collaboration plus the additional sale!

3. J.Crew Pearl Earrings
I recently lost one of my Honora freshwater pearl stud earrings, so when J.Crew had a recent 25% off plus free shipping on all orders promotion, I took advantage and ordered a pair of freshwater pearl studs from their website. They are a bit smaller than my Honora ones were, but I still like them a lot. I highly recommend if you're looking for a pair of real pearl earrings at a reasonable price.

4. Target Pumpkin Cereal Bars
These pumpkin cereal bars from Target are a new seasonal item and they are amazing! They also have a reasonable amount of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. I am having to ration out my last box since I have yet to see any more at either Target that is convenient for me. If you see a box of these at Target then grab them, as they seem to be in short supply, at least in my area!

5. Vineyard Vines Fleece Vest
I had been wanting another fleece vest, and had particularly been eyeing a navy one from Vineyard Vines. I was so excited when I found one at the outlet and was able to get it for 40% off outlet price thanks to their Columbus Day Weekend Sale. I know I will get a lot of wear out of it this fall and winter!

Hope y'all have a great weekend!
