Featured Outfit: One Top, Two Fall Looks

I really love my Hotty Pink Elsa Top by Lilly Pulitzer. This is actually a cotton Elsa, and I wish Lilly would make the Elsa in cotton again because I love the style, but not the dry cleaning fees that come with a silk top. The Elsa is so versatile, and you can see how I created two different Fall looks with it. A few weeks ago when it was still in the 80s I wore it with shorts and Jacks:

The Cassie: One Dress, Many Looks!

I love the Cassie Dress by Lilly Pulitzer! This simple 3/4 sleeve cotton slub jersey dress is so incredibly comfortable! One of the best things about it is it's versatility! The styling opportunities are endless and you can create completely different looks with the same dress depending on what shoes, jewelry, and accessories you wear! This post is long with lots of pictures, but it will be worth it if you read all the way through, I promise! I have paired the Cassie Dress in New Green (no longer available on Lilly's website in this particular color, but it might reappear during the Endless Summer Sale) with different necklaces, shoes, and belts to illustrate the variety of looks that can come from one basic dress!

I've created 13 different looks with just one dress, and there are so many more possibilities by mixing and matching the different shoes, necklaces/scarves, and belts! Plus you can add even more variety depending on what bracelets and earrings you wear!

Preppy Summer Work Outfits

Here are two favorite preppy outfits I've worn to work recently. The first outfit includes a classic Lilly Pulitzer skirt with a white top. I also wore a white cardigan with this outfit but forgot I had taken it off when I took these pictures:

Featured Outfit: Summer Nights

Summer Nights Going Out Ensemble by pearlsgowitheverything 

I wore the ensemble pictured above for a night out with friends earlier this summer, and it's one of my favorite outfits I've put together recently. The neon pink blouse from the J.Crew outlet really pops against a pair of white Joe's Jeans skinnies. A bright yellow bubble necklace (also from J.Crew Factory) adds another burst of neon to the outfit. A fun Lilly Pulitzer bangle and Kate Spade turtle cocktail ring, classic pearl stud earrings, and some bronze Jack Rogers pull together the rest of the ensemble.

And here's a shot of me wearing this outfit! This will definitely be a go-to for summer nights out on the town!

Featured Outfit: Lilly Knit Dress

This past weekend I was back at the beach with another good friend, and I wore my Lilly Pulitzer Kaleb Dress out to dinner one night. This dress is so incredibly comfortable but also looks extremely pulled together. I love the block of coral at the top of this dress. It adds a fun contrast to the stripes! Lilly knits are the perfect casual dresses for a night out at the beach! My friend wore a belted Lilly Pulitzer Cassie Dress in Schooner Blue. She absolutely adores the Cassie and is always looking to add new colors to her collection!

Featured Outfit: Fiesta Pink Gingham

Hey y'all! Internet is back up and running at my place! Hope y'all have had a great Monday. The news of the much awaited royal birth definitely helped ease the Monday blues. Congrats to Will and Kate on your precious baby boy. I can't wait to see pictures of the little prince! Any guesses as to his name? My top three guesses (in no particular order) are Henry, George, and James.

Although Duchess Kate gave birth to a boy, today's Featured Outfit post is all about pink! This is one of my favorite outfits I wore out when I was at the beach the week of July 4th. I was excited to debut my Mimosa Skirt in Fiesta Pink Pretty Gingham from the Lilly Pulitzer Spring 2013 line. I adore the neon color and scalloped hem. This skirt will be a staple in my warm weather wardrobe for a long time!

Featured Outfit: Another Zoo Day

I am long overdue for another Featured Outfit post, so here goes! When I went on a road trip a couple weekends ago to visit some friends, I got to go to a cute little local zoo. Much smaller than the NC Zoo I had visited a month prior, but still tons of fun. I thought this was an appropriate opportunity to break out my elephant print shorts from the Milly for Banana Republic Collection, and I also wore my giraffe necklace and turtle ring. One of my friends definitely got a kick out of the number of animals my outfit incorporated!

Featured Outfit:Chin Chin Skort Debut

This past weekend my Lilly Pulitzer skort in Multi Chin Chin made its debut! As I have mentioned multiple times on this blog, Chin Chin is one of my favorite Lilly prints ever! Featured Outfit: Shorely Blue Chin Chin

Last Friday I wore this outfit out to dinner to kick off girls' weekend with my best friend.  It was a cooler spring night so wearing a light blue long sleeve cardigan with white jeans and Jacks helped me stay warm while still looking "springy." A lightweight Lilly scarf added the perfect finishing touch to this outfit. I love that Lilly decided to make a Murfette scarf in the Chin Chin print, but used a different color scheme. This gives the print a whole new look, but with the same adorable elephants! They are just light blue instead of pink. This scarf is currently sold out on the Lilly website, but some stores probably still have it in stock. It has rapidly become one of my favorite Lilly items in my closet!

I recently wore my seafoam green Lilly Pulitzer Cassie Top that I got from the Rue La La sale at the beginning of April.
