Friday Five

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July holiday! I'm back for another long overdue Friday Five! Here's what I'm loving this week:

1. Lilly Pulitzer Pick Me Up Pouch in Tusk In Sun

When I went to pick up the Lilly agenda I had pre-ordered, I saw that they had these precious zip-up pouches in Tusk In Sun. I didn't buy one at the time, but the next day I kept thinking about how much I "needed" one and how I would regret it if I didn't get one. Tusk In Sun is an extremely popular Lilly print so I knew they would sell out quickly. And if you've been reading my blog for awhile you know that I'm obsessed with this print and anything with elephants. Plus the price was hard to resist and you can never have too many zipper pouches like this. I love the detailing on the inside as well.

2. Lilly Pulitzer 2014-2015 Medium Agenda in Tusk In Sun

Speaking of my new Lilly agenda, I decided to go with the medium size, which is new for this year. I had gotten the large for the past several years and it was a bit cumbersome to tote around. Since I'm no longer a student and I don't have a ton of different meetings to keep track of for work, I figured the medium would be plenty big to write down events and appointments.  And of course I went for the beloved Tusk In Sun print.

3. Kate Spade Lemon Tart Pendant

I have wanted this Kate Spade lemon pendant necklace ever since it came out months ago, but definitely couldn't justify full price! When Kate Spade had an additional 25% off sale items a couple weeks ago I jumped at the chance to order it, and ended up getting it for about 50% off the original retail price. I've already worn it multiple times- it is such a fun accessory and complements so many of my summer outfits.

4. Patriotic Elephant
When I was in AC Moore during my lunch break one day this week getting supplies for my Chick-fil-a cow costume, I couldn't resist picking up this patriotic pachyderm to add to my elephant collection. And  the cashier had a 50% off coupon, which made him only $2! Although it's a week too late for the 4th of July, being patriotic is always in season!

5. Chick-fil-a Cow Appreciation Day
Speaking of my Chick-fil-a cow costume, I participated in my first ever Cow Appreciation Day. I had been wanting to do this for several years, but had either been at the beach where there's no Chick-fil-a nearby, or just couldn't find anyone to go with me. This year I made plans to go for dinner with one of my friends, so we dressed up like cows and got free Chick-fil-a! I will be making this an annual event from now on as much as I'm able to!

Hope y'all have a great weekend!
