I haven't posted a favorite recipe on here in awhile, so here is one for a delicious hot feta and artichoke dip. I originally found it on Pinterest, and the original recipe is
here. This is a very easy and simple appetizer and would be great to take to a Super Bowl party this weekend!
Ingredients:
8 oz reduced fat cream cheese, softened
14 oz can of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced (I have been fine using a smidge of crushed garlic paste)
1 small red pepper, chopped (I have used green pepper before too)
3.5 oz feta cheese, crumbled
1 tbsp sliced black olives (I have left these out before and it does fine)
Directions:
1. Mix cream cheese, artichoke hearts, Parmesan cheese, and garlic until blended.
2. Spread into 3-cup ovenproof dish and top with pepper and feta
3. Bake for at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
4. Serve with pita chips or cracker of your choice.
